  1. Dearest Friend, How nice to see you back to your art. Also wonderful that you have used this quote. It is from Hemingway's memories of when he was young and living in Paris with his wife Hadley. The book is called, 'A Moveable Feast'. I read it at least once a year, and keep a copy in every room, so I can dip into it often. It was my first inspiration to live in Paris. Here is the actual quote, "We ate well and cheaply and drank well and cheaply and slept well and warm together and loved each other" Paris continues to be a place where this can be done. Just last night we had a lovely bottle of wine with dinner that cost only 1 euro 59 cents. The baguette was 85 cents, and the chicken legs and potatoes I roasted cost about 3 euros. All from the street markets. Also, Jane and I are still in love. I know I am going on and on, but this photo and quote touched me very much. My favorite author and favorite city. I know you have posted others, and I will comment soon. Hugs and Kisses Dear Friend

  2. I´m glad to be back, and to restart these great conversations, my dear friend.
It´s very nice to read how is your life in Paris, and the vision you had about life. I think it´s the most important thing in this world to have the minimum of intelligence to choose simple things and enjoy them, that´s what I want to do in life.
Be happy, and take care (you and Jane). Kisses!
