Y más globos

"No hagas con el amor
lo que hace un niño con su globo,
que al tenerlo lo ignora,
y al perderlo llora."
Pablo Neruda

Y más globos

  1. I love Neruda, because he could take an ordinary concept, as a child with a balloon, and make a universal statement that would resonate with anyone who ever saw a child with a balloon. I always feel sad when I see a balloon that is flying free with a string hanging that once had a child at the other end. Neruda shows us that there is a lesson for adults in that. You manage to take the ordinary and make it universal with your photographer's eye. Even without the quote, I looked at your image, and was flooded with memories and emotions. Have you seen the French film, " The Red Balloon " ? I thought of that too, when I looked at your photo. Excellent work, my Dear Friend. Big Hugs

    1. Neruda was an artist who made magic with his words. I feel very honored with your comparison to me, but I´m only a woman who look at the world around, and take a particular point of view. No, I didn´t have seen that film, but I will search for it. Thank you very much for your kind words. I missed our conversations all this time I´ve been out. Take care of you, kisses, my dear friend.
